DEAL: Organically developed tower portfolio western United States

Hired to sell over 50 organically developed towers across 10 states in highly restrictive zoning areas with significantly challenging barriers to entry. This was a repeat client with the previous transaction closing roughly a decade earlier. The towers averaged less than five years old and had close to 1.5 tenants per site. Through a robust sellside process, focusing on both strategic investors and financial sponsors, the portfolio was sold at valuation in the mid to high 30’s of TCF.

DEAL: Nationwide organically developed tower portfolio

Hired to find a recapitalization partner for a highly regarded, well-respected, and experienced management team with the portfolio of 425 completed towers and an advanced development pipeline across the US. This was a repeat client, with the previous transaction closing a decade earlier. Negotiated the transaction to partner this client with an infrastructure fund hoping to deploy a significant amount of capital going forward to continue building on the momentum established by the management team. Transaction multiple remains the highest on record for a transaction of any size and scale over the last few years.

DEAL: Nationwide portfolio of non-core towers for cable company

Hired by one of the largest cable companies in the country to help divest a portfolio of nearly 550 non-core tower sites, half of which did not have any tenants. Ran a robust sales process that targeted public and private strategic buyers, private equity investors, and infrastructure funds. Successfully navigated key issues in the sale-leaseback transaction to not impair the client’s core business operations. Closed transaction with multiple buyers at a valuation for the positive cash flow towers in the low 30s of TCF.
